The most beautiful churches and the oldest pilgrimage places in Slovakia

1st day – Bardejov – a short tour of the Basilica of St. Egidius. Move to Marianska hora near Levoča, old place of pilgrimage, St. Mary Church built in the 13th century. Short sitting in church, walk around the church, beautiful views of Levoča and High Tatras. Further examination of the Spiš Chapter so called Slovak Vatican. Visit the St. Martin Church. Transfer to Spišská Sobota, where we can admire works of Master Paul of Levoča. After lunch we continue further on to the Old Mountains to Basilica of the Visitation of the blessed Virgin Mary, shrine where more than 500 people show love to the Mother of God. After contemplation we move to place of pilgrimage Marianka near Bratislava. The place with touch of mystery will calm your thoughts and regain your peace and strength.

2nd day – after breakfast we continue to Šaštín, to the Basilica of Our Lady of Sorrows from the 18th century. One of the most famous pilgrimages is annually held here. After the rest in the Basilica we visit the wooden Church of All Saints in Tvrdošín – one of the most beautiful sacral buildings in Slovakia. The last church awaits us in Ludrova- old church with beautiful wall paintings ends our trip through the most beautiful sacral monuments in Slovakia.
