Záhorie and wine route to Skalica

1st day – in the morning we move through the north of Slovakia to Záhorie beyond the border to Moravia. We admire unique technical monument Baťa Canal, board the sightseeing boat and in silence of Moravian nature swim across the trunk. We look around nearby chateau in Strážnice, and head to Slovakia to the old royal town Skalica. In the evening we await a wine tasting in wine cellar associated with  small refreshment.

Overnight in Skalica

2nd day – morning transfer to the square, a short tour of the city, the oldest building in the St. George Rotunda, Franciscan church and monastery, we buy traditional trdelník and move to the city Holíč. Here we visit the former holiday and summer residence of the Habsburgs. After leaving this city we visit one of the three oldest churches in Slovakia, church in Kopčany. Furthermore, we continue to Leváre where awaits us Habans museum – unique example of architecture and the life of the German community in Slovakia.
